I am Faris who currently continued my studies at Universiti Teknikal
Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) taking Bachelor of Electronic Engineering in Telecommunication. Recently a third year student who’s taking degree at UTeM. Today our supervisor which is Mr Mazran Bin Esro told us
to create a blog as a journal to report all our daily life activities during
these internship programme. Means that, all of us must create one blog and post
all the activities, knowledge, input and output that we gain along this
internship programme everyday.
These are very good idea because most of student nowadays tend to finish their working report for the last minutes and also allow our supervisor control and filtering on the blog posts and comments, or through public services with supervisor oversight, students with individual blogs have an opportunity to discover the work and joy of communicating their ideas in written form, and then getting feedback from others.

INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME
Today is our second day at HIIS for internship programme. This
programme is a must for the third student who’s taking degree of electronic
engineering major in telecommunication at Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka
(UTeM). Actually, this internship programs are designed to
provide university students an opportunity to complement their formal education
with career related experience. In Malaysia, the issue of unemployment among
local university graduates at public higher education institutes (PHEI) are
also perceived related to the lack of internship training undergone by these
students.
So, the Ministry of Higher Education has conducted a study to establish a clear framework that will guide and give direction, to the management of internship training of all students in PHEI. These guidelines will not only help PHEI develop their best practices in internship programs but also, provide recommendations for industries how to design and implement optimum internship programs.
